Biography :
Bettina Chale-Matsau is a Chemical Pathologist at NHLS, South Africa. Her qualifications include MBBCh, BSc Hons, MSc, FCPath, MMed and PhD. She provides guidance to clinicians regarding appropriate test utilization and interpretation of laboratory and supervises research projects for postgraduate students - MMed, MSc and PhD. Her interests include endocrinology, diabetes, laboratory management, Point of Care testing (POCT) and inherited metabolic diseases. She has published in peer reviewed journals and presented at both national and international conferences. She is also member of the AFCC POCT Committee and a Section Editor for the AJLM.
