Biography :
Dr. Shahabi is an accomplished surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and metabolic bariatric surgery at Center of Excellence of European Branch of International Federation for Surgery of Obesity, Hazrat-e Fatemeh Hospital, part of the School of Medicine at Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran. He holds a Master of Public Health and is a fellow of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (FIFSO). As the Secretary of the IRSMBS and Chair of the Young-IFSO Scientific Committee, Dr. Shahabi is dedicated to advancing surgical education and research within the field of obesity surgery.
